‘Esculturas Sensibles’, ‘Enrique’ y ‘A House is not a Home’ son parte de una serie de piezas en dónde está presente la inquietud por observar la transformación de la naturaleza -expresada en la materia orgánica- y la búsqueda por integrar dicho proceso en el desarrollo de una obra.

A partir de estas piezas comencé una investigación que tomó como premisa el pensar la vida no como un todo dado y cerrado, sino más bien pensarla desde las relaciones que la sostienen y la hacen circular.

Durante varios años coloqué esa mezcla de elementos naturales -cambiantes con el tiempo- en relación a espacios y a distintos materiales. Los observaba cotidianamente con lupas. Probaba construir pequeños mundos mutantes que sirvieran para crear espacios de contemplación y redimensión de la naturaleza y sus posibles.

El habito de observar y registrar cotidianamente "procesos" desencadenó el afán de percibirme a mí misma, y no sólo, como una figura que es observable, cambiante, predecible e impredecible al mismo tiempo. Semejante a un espacio vital que puede ser habitado desde la atención y transformable a partir del entendimiento, la resignificación y la ficción.

Todo este proceso se fue especificando a lo largo de mi práctica en una búsqueda por establecer relaciones minuciosas entre los distintos elementos con los que trabajo y en un interés por "descubrir" las naturalezas propias de la materia, de las situaciones y de las personas.

‘Sensitive Sculptures’, ‘Enrique’ and ‘A House is not a Home’ are part of a series of pieces where there is a concern to observe the transformation of nature -expressed in organic matter- and the search to integrate that process in the development of a work.

From these pieces I began an investigation that took as a premise thinking about life not as a given and closed whole, but rather thinking about it from the relationships that support it and make it circulate.

For several years I placed this mixture of natural elements - changing over time - in relation to spaces and different materials. I have been daily observing them with magnifying glasses. I was trying to build small mutant worlds that would enable to create spaces for contemplation and resizing of nature and its possibilities.

The habit of daily observing and recording "processes" triggered the desire to perceive myself, and not only, as a figure that is observable, changing, predictable and unpredictable at the same time. Similar to a vital space that can be inhabited from attention and transformable from understanding, resettlement and fiction.

Throughout my practice, this whole process has taken shape in a research to establish meticulous relationships between the different elements I work with, in an attempt to ‘discover’ the natures of matter, situations and people.
